No wonder Scotland is called the Isle of Skye. There is something different here about the reflective quality of air, sky and water that gives the images a magical, spiritual quality. At the end of loch Ness, Urquhart Castle, is perched high on the greenest hill, surrounded by gorgeous hillsides that seem to rise out of the water like the legendary sea creature itself. It truly took our breath away. And how fortunate we were to experience this place on a gorgeous sunlit day. Our stay was just a few hours, but we would love to return to Scotland and this area around Inverness and loch Ness for an extended stay,
So pretty!!
Thank you! We loved the trip so much!!
