Giverny France

Of course I have always loved the work of Monet, made more intriguing after I learned that he had a medical condition which affected his eyesight. He never left his village of Giverny, and other impressionists were there as well. It is rumored that the light in Giverny is made more reflective by its proximity to the river and the ocean. We got to visit Monet’s Gardens at his home in France and were blown away by the beauty. You can see the magical quality of the light in the photos. Absolutely amazing.
