We were fortunate to be able to travel to Paris in the summer of 2013 as a family. I had returned from Costa Rica just three days before this trip and it put quite a different perspective on the trip for me, coming almost directly from a developing country to one of the most privileged cities in the world. The gap is absolutely mind boggling.
We loved the city, the art and the history, and the photography opportunities were many. To watch my teenagers reactions to the city itself and the many famous works of art and monuments was an experience I will never forget.
