Photography from the latin means to paint with light, and I always take that to heart. I shoot in raw, and I edit every photo by hand in photoshop. I like my color loud, like I like my music, however, I don’t like things to be unrealistic. Death valley is cartoonishly bright. The colors are insanely vivid. During sunset and sunrise at Badwater Basin, the colors were like this, the mountains on fire like that. The photo you commented on here, under Artists Palette, this is really how it is. And it changes every day, in every light. Look up Artist’s Palette at night – the photos are amazing. It glows. I never made it back for a night shoot.
